At Mama’s Bricks, we reinvent the traditional brick, transforming it into a design piece with added value in both functionality and aesthetics. Our bricks go beyond their structural purpose, offering ventilation, lighting, and decorative benefits, adapting to various environments and needs.
Each design is carefully developed to optimize airflow and natural light, improving thermal efficiency and comfort in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Tailored Design for Every Project
We believe in the importance of collaborating with architects and designers from the very beginning of a project. We work closely with them to develop unique and customized designs, tailored to the specific needs of each space. Whether for residential, commercial, or public areas such as plazas, gardens, and parks, our bricks seamlessly integrate into architecture, enhancing both functionality and identity.
Available in natural terracotta, which highlights the material’s beauty and authenticity, as well as in a range of glazed colors that add vibrancy and sophistication, our bricks allow for full customization and a distinctive finish for every project.
More than just building blocks, Mama’s bricks are pieces that transform spaces, blending tradition, innovation, and contemporary design.
My roots lie in a humble town nestled on the border of Brazil and Bolivia. While traditional artistic access was limited in this environment, we thrived amidst local artisans who crafted exquisite pieces using indigenous materials and techniques. The transition from this modest setting to the culturally rich cityscape of Madrid, with its expansive museum collections, dramatically broadened my understanding of art. I discovered the works of illustrious artists like Picasso, Dalí, Miró, and Gaudi, deepening my appreciation for the spectrum of artistic expression.
As a global citizen, I've resided in South America, Africa, and Europe. This diverse exposure has expanded my worldview, enhancing my understanding of the varied economic and political landscapes. It has stirred within me a desire to reflect on the contrasting ways of life, the disparity between abundance and scarcity, and the disparate levels of happiness amongst various cultures in my artwork.
